College Applications
BHS does have some college applications on file but you should get the application on the web or write directly to the college and request application forms.
Bring the application to your counselor when you have completed your part. All secondary school report forms and counselor recommendation forms are to be given to your college counselor with a self-addressed stamped envelope (counselors will not accept applications piece-meal). Teacher recommendations should be given to the teachers with a stamped, addressed envelope; they will mail their letters directly to the colleges. Teachers are asked to write letters for many students. Please keep this in mind and watch deadlines!
Reporting Test Scores to Colleges
It is your responsibility to see that the appropriate SAT I and/or ACT and or SATII/Subject Test scores are sent to the colleges. If you did not code your college(s) at the time you registered for the tests, you can request that your ACT or SAT scores be sent from its respective testing organization. Most colleges require official test scores; this means that they must be received from the testing offices in a sealed envelope -- not from the high school or the students.
