String Theory
String Theory is Batavia High School’s Fiddle and Alternative Styles String Ensemble. String Theory is open to string players who participate in one of Batavia’s music courses and is not auditioned. The material is primarily Irish, Scottish, and American fiddle-based, including bluegrass and some jazz styles. String Theory performs within the Batavia community and holds a showcase annually in the spring. Guitars, mandolins, and other string instruments are welcome! The ensemble is typically 12-25 people in size.
