Link Crew

Batavia High School’s Transition & Leadership Program

About Link Crew

We are looking for current Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior students interested in creating a safe and supportive learning environment that will establish a positive foundation and transition for incoming freshmen. This comprehensive high school orientation and transition program will train you to lead, motivate, develop, and gain new skills to prepare you for life after high school. This leadership opportunity will be one of the best experiences at BHS. Come help us make a Difference!

** This is a non-academic leadership program that requires no previous leadership experience.

Application and Process

Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior students who are interested in being part of Link Crew must complete an application.  You can pick these up in the Counseling and Advising Office. You can also follow this link —> APPLICATION.  Applications are due Friday, March 22, 2024.

The Link Crew Coordinators will select Link Crew Leaders to be trained to mentor and support the incoming class. Selected students will be notified after Spring Break.

Leaders and Crews

Each Crew will consist of 2-4 leaders and about 15 freshmen. During freshman orientation, freshmen students and their assigned Link Leaders will participate in a series of fun, innovative and positive activities. This process allows for a connection and relationship between Link Leaders and freshmen students. The activities will focus on BHS traditions and choices that students may experience during high school. FROSH FEST date for 2024-2025 is TBD and will be the day before the first day of school.
