In partnership with parents/guardians, educators, and community stakeholders, the Batavia High School Counseling Department implements a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes student achievement and personal wellness.

School counselors are professional educators with a mental health perspective. School counselors do not work in isolation but are integral to the total education program. School counselors help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development, and college/career development.

The BHS Counseling and Advising Department takes pride in bringing Batavia a comprehensive program that is developmentally appropriate for your high school student. Our School Counselors are here to work with parents, students, and staff. Please feel free to call or e-mail our School Counselors with any questions, or concerns, or to set up an appointment for you and/or your child.
