Congratulations to the JV girls tennis team on taking first place at the Belvidere Invite over the weekend. The girls went undefeated at the tournament with singles players Addi Lowe and Kathryn Danosky taking first place along with the doubles teams of Abby Arends and Emily Newburn, Nicci Wasmund and Juliana Soltis, and Ella Peterson and Ainsley Steinys.

Co-op class is collecting cans and plastic bottles for a fundraiser for Anderson Animal Shelter.  Please leave your empty can and bottles on your lunch table during A & B lunches and co-op will come and pick them up.

Hey Seniors!  This Monday, August 23rd, NHS is hosting a senior sunrise event!  There will be donuts for breakfast, we get to wear our pajamas, and there will be photo opportunities.  Be at the field at 5:50 AM with a blanket and chair to watch the sunrise and kick off our senior year together.  Be on the lookout for an email from Ms. Fricke with the details.

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Golf Team on taking 4th place out of 14 at the Huntley Invite yesterday.  Scores from Lauren Sudler, Brooke Miara, and Kylie Sloan all counted for the dogs.   Huge congratulations to Mandy Naylor for shooting a personal best and taking 8th overall.  Nice job ladies.

Congratulations to the JV Girls golf team on beating Huntley High School this past Tuesday.  Low scores were had by Brooke Besic, Mya Hendersen, Danielle Domanus, and Nora Steiner.  Congratulations ladies on a great victory.

Congratulations to the boys golf team for finishing 5th out of 21 teams at the Bloomington Invite.  The team was led by Gavin Newkirk who shot a tournament record 6 under par 66 and was the individual champion.  Other counting scores were shot by Brady Krol, Myles Prodoehl, Drew Freelund, and Tanner Gawlik.
