AP Exam Registration Process & Payment Timeline
AP Exam Registration & Payment Information
Students enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses at BHS must register for their exams through the College Board’s MyAP portal.
How to Register for AP Exams
- Log into or create your account at myap.collegeboard.org.
- Join each AP class using the join code provided by your teacher.
- Set your exam decision for each course:
- Select “Yes” if you plan to take the AP exam.
- Select “No” if you do not.
You may change your exam decision at any time before the deadline for each semester. After the deadline, no changes are allowed, and exam fees become non-refundable.
Please review the important deadlines and fee information below:
Fall (Semester 1) AP Courses – Decision Timeline:
- October 29 – This is the final deadline for students in Semester 1 AP courses to register for their AP exams in MyAP. After this date, no changes can be made to exam decisions for Semester 1 classes.
- November 2 – AP Exams Fees Posted on MySchoolBucks. Students/families must log onto MySchoolBucks and pay for their AP Exams.
- November 9 – Final Deadline to Pay for Semester 1 AP Exams. If payment is not received by this date, the exam will not be ordered. The student’s MyAP portal will be updated to show a “No” exam decision.
Spring (Semester 2) AP Courses – Decision Timeline
- February 24, 2027 – This is the final deadline for students in Semester 2 AP courses to register for their AP exams in MyAP. After this date, no changes can be made to exam decisions for Semester 2 classes.
- March 1, 2027 -AP Exams Fees Posted on MySchoolBucks. Students/families must log onto MySchoolBucks and pay for their AP Exams.
- March 8, 2027 – Final Deadline to Pay for Semester 1 AP Exams. If payment is not received by this date, the exam will not be ordered. The student’s MyAP portal will be updated to show a “No” exam decision.
AP Exam Fees & Timeline:
- Each AP exam costs $103.
- Students who receive fee waivers through BPS101 will have AP exam fees ($103) waived ($0).
- AP Exam fees will be posted in MySchoolBucks each semester.
- AP exam semester 1 fees are due November 9.
- AP exam fees for semester 2 classes are due March 8,2027.
- Students must meet both the registration and payment deadlines for their exam(s) to be ordered.
- No refunds will be assessed.
