How to Join
To join Batavia Music as an incoming 9th grader, please tell your counselor to sign you up for the following classes:
Band (woodwind or brass player) – “Symphonic Band”
Band (percussionist) – “Percussion 1”
Choir – “Chorale”
Orchestra – “Concert Orchestra”
If you are moving into the district and want to join music as an upperclassman, please E-Mail your future teacher and let them know. We will help you find a class that is perfect for you!

Once you sign up for classes, please E-Mail your director to let them know you will be joining the music department!
What to expect
Audition Materials
Band/Percussion Audition Materials – available in December each year.
If you are moving into the district and want to join the band, E-Mail Mr. Owen as soon as possible (chris.owen@bps101.net), and we will find a place for you and send you audition materials if desired.
