DESSA Assessment for 9th Graders
We wanted to make you aware of an upcoming assessment during the week of September 19th that will be administered to all freshmen students. Over two decades of research has helped us understand the important roles that social and emotional skills play in each child’s success in school, in the community, and, eventually, in higher education and the workplace. Skills such as demonstrating self-control, persisting at challenging tasks, making good decisions, and working well in groups are all necessary to being successful students and adults. Building Our Future Together: BPS101’s $140 million bond referendum on Nov. 8 will enable the district to address essential safety and security needs at our schools. Approval will not increase the district’s bond and interest property tax levy. Find out more at: www.bps101.net/boft.

- Confirm Primary Email, Home Phone, and Cell Phone is current for both Parent/Guardian listings (if applicable)

Attention Senior Parents: If your senior would like to be in the yearbook, they will need to book an appointment with Root Studios (HR Imaging Partners) to reserve a spot for a Senior Portrait. Please go to the www.rootseniors.com website to see the many options/prices. If your senior already took professional pictures with an outside photographer, there is the YEARBOOK ONLY option (4 traditional head and shoulders poses- No Fee). This sitting is no cost, but you still have to reserve a date/time. Portraits will take place in the BHS Atrium.
