Paint the Town We are so excited to get HOCOCHELLA started!
 The week kicks off with Paint the Town Sunday, September 7 from 9:00 -11:00 am in downtown Batavia.

| Just a Few Reminders: |
| 1. You MUST BE PRESENT with your group for the event’s entirety. |
|
2. Paint ONLY ON WINDOWS! Do not get paint on the sidewalk or any other part of the building. Do not paint over any signage or lettering that is advertising for their business.

| 3. Window Paint must be ACRYLIC PAINT. Foam brushes and plastic cups/paper cups are great for students to hold paint. |
| 4. Your group is responsible for BRINGING paint and painting supplies (such as brushes, cups/bowls, and tarps). |
| 5. DON’T COVER the business name, specials, etc. on windows. |
|
**Tip #1 – You can tape the tarp (or garbage bags) from the bottom of the window all the way to the ground to prohibit paint from getting on the sidewalk and building.
|
| **Tip #2 – Have your group plan a “DESIGN” ahead of time so that you know what you want to paint. A good idea is to print some photos/graphics to use as reference! |
Rain Plan: If you feel it is not great conditions for painting, please arrange for your group to paint windows before the parade on Wednesday.
