As you make important decisions about your courses, we encourage both students and guardians to consider the student’s individual strengths and academic goals. For those ready to take on greater challenges, the Accelerated Placement Act—designed to provide early access to advanced coursework based on a student’s readiness—offers opportunities to enroll in higher-level classes.
To determine your appropriate level of academic rigor, please refer to the chart below:
Are you considering taking an Honors, Dual Credit or AP Course? Students who are successful in these classes typically meet the following criteria: |
